
Assistant Professor of Speech-Language Pathology
The Speech-Language Pathology Program in the Department of Speech, Language, and Hearing Sciences at Auburn University is accepting applications for a 9-month, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant Professor. At the time of appointment applicants must have a doctoral degree in Communication Disorders or related field (1 year ABD considered as instructor). CCC-SLP certification and eligibility for Alabama licensure are desired. While all areas of expertise will be considered, the following areas of scholarship are desired: pediatric motor speech disorders, dysphagia, craniofacial anomalies, neurogenic communication disorders, special populations. Responsibilities could include in-person teaching undergraduate, master’s and doctoral level students, conducting research in area of expertise, pursuing extramural funding, directing undergraduate and graduate student research and participating in departmental and university service.
