Description

CAPCSD’s 43rd Annual Conference will be in Orlando, Florida, at the Signia by Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek, an official Walt Disney World® Hotel.

For the past 44 years, our conference has been held in a variety of cities across the United States. It has a reputation for being a leading conference in speech-language pathology and audiology education. Faculty and staff in speech and hearing departments throughout the nation and abroad benefit from the opportunity to collaborate, connect, explore, and learn together about issues unique to our discipline.

The 2023 conference will build on the success of the 2022 conference in Portland and use your feedback to create a vibrant, engaging event where you can learn and exchange ideas with your colleagues.

The Council of Academic Programs in Communication Sciences and Disorders is approved by the American Academy of Audiology to offer Academy CEUs for this activity. The program is worth a maximum of  2.55 CEUs. Academy approval of this continuing education activity is based on course content only and does not imply endorsement of course content, specific products, or clinical procedure, or adherence of the event to the Academy’s Code of Ethics. Any views that are presented are those of the presenter/CE Provider and not necessarily of the American Academy of Audiology.

Time

The CAPCSD Conference pre-conference sessions start at 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023. These pre-conference sessions require an additional payment for entry.  

All conference participants are invited to the Welcome Reception starting at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 12, 2023.  

The conference kicks off at 7:50 a.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023.

Pricing

CAPCSD offers a generous early-bird fee of $100 off the regular conference fee.  

Tiered pricing based on registration date 

  • January 9 - March 10, 2023, $100 discount off the regular conference price.
  • March 10 - April 15, 2023, regular conference price.

Please note that CAPCSD subsidizes the annual conference, and the registration fees are less than the actual per-person cost that CAPCSD pays.
